The
MGSIPAP Campus is located in the city beautiful of Chandigarh,
250 Km northeast of the national capital of India, New Delhi. Situated
between the Ghaggar & Patiala-Ki-Rao rivers at the foothills of
the Shivaliks, Chandigarh affords a beautiful view of the hills, which
cradles such famous places as Shimla and Kasauli. Chandigarh
was planned by the famous French architect Le Corbusier, its foundation
stone was laid in the year 1952. The places for tourist attraction in
Chandigarh among others are Rose Garden, Rock Garden, Lake, Museum,
Art Gallery, Chandi Mandir Temple and National Gallery of Portraits.

Temperature
in Chandigarh during the summer months is very warm with day/night temperature
maximizing at 44/38 degrees Celsius. Winter months are cold and the
temperatures could go down to 4 degrees Celsius. The months of October/
November & February/March are the best months of the year.
How to reach Chandigarh
Chandigarh
is well linked to all urban centers in the region by road, rail and
air. It is well served by an excellent network of roads. National Highway
21 and all the major road arteries link Chandigarh with the rest of
India.
By Road Transport
Buses of several State road transport corporations connect Chandigarh
with major cities and towns of the neighboring States i.e. Punjab, Haryana
& Himachal Pradesh. The bus stand is about 5 kms. from the Institute
campus.
By Train
The Shatabdi
Express (twice up & down from New Delhi), Himalayan Queen and Kalka
mail provide train connection every day between Chandigarh and Delhi.
