Meeting of the Core Committee for Cyber Crimes
District Centre, MGSIPAP, Kapurthala running under the able guidance of Dr. Harkesh Singh Sidhu, Deputy Commissioner,
Kapurthala organized a meeting of a Core Committee constituted for arranging training programmes regarding Cyber
Crimes on September 26, 2011 was prescribed over by Shri Gurmail Singh, Addl. Deputy Commissioner, Kapurthala.
While presiding over the meeting, Shri Gurmail Singh Addl. Deputy Commissioner apprised the Core Committee that the Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration, Punjab, Chandigarh is organizing a training for the Judicial Officer, Advocates and Police Officers to make them aware about the Cyber Crimes and other related matters and how these could be investigated / tackled so that these are stopped from spreading further. It was decided that the training be organized during the third week of October, 2011. The meeting was attended by Shri J.S. Marok, Shri Jagmohan Singh, Superintendent of Police (D), Shir H.S. Sandhu, Senior Advocate Shri M.L. Solanki, District Attorney, Shri Amandeep Singh Thind Secretary, District Bar Association and Shri Jang Singh District Public Relations Officer.
3rd Meeting of Research, Innovation and Training Council (RIT) Kapurthala
Meeting of the Research, Innovation and Training Council (RIT) was held on September 30, 2011 at District Centre, MGSIPAP, Kapurthala. It was presided over by Dr. R.K. Sharma, A.F.(DS), Mahatma State Institute of Public Administration, Punjab, Chandigarh.
Dr. Manoj Sharma, Deputy Director Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Dr. Balwinder Singh Assistant Civil Surgeon, Shri Paramjit Singh District Guidance Councillor, Shri Nirmal Singh Assistant Director Fisheries, Dr. Sukhdeep Singh Horticulture Development Officer, Shri Amarjit Singh General Manager, Shri Sanjeev Kumar Functional Manager and Shri Sandeep Shridhar, Sub Divisional Engineer, Panchayati Raj Kapurthala attended the meeting.
Dr. R.K. Sharma explained in detail that for the proper implementation of any scheme prepared for the welfare of the public, its bottlenecks in respect of implementation are to be minutely looked into by the officers working at the cutting edge level. he stressed that the suggestions extended by them on the basis of their field experience while implementing these schemes be submitted to the Institute which will be examined and taken to the concerned departments for making necessary changes whenever required.
The Officers/ Officials discussed in detail various changes required in the schemes and promised to send these to the Institute within two weeks. Dr. R.K. Sharma assured that every contribution will be suitably rewarded by the Institute alongwith the expenses incurred in bringing out the input.
Training on Bird Flu & Epidemics to Veterinary Staff and Feed & Fodder to Dairy Farmers
The District Centre at Kapurthala organized a one day training on Bird Flu & Epidemics for Veterinary Staff and Feed & Fodder for Dairy Farmers on September 27, 2011 in which 65 Veterinary Officers/ Inspectors/ Farmers participated. Dr. J.S. Ghuman, Dy. Director, Animal Husbandry inaugurated the training programme and exhorted the participants to take maximum benefit of the training. he stressed that by attending to the animals, veterinary personnel not only perform their duty but also render value ableservice to the speechless species, Dr. Harjinder Singh, Veterinary Officer, R.D.D.L, Jalandhar explained at length about Bird Flu. Dr. Manoj Sharma, Deputy Director Krishi Vigyan Kendra gave valuable information regarding balanced feed and fodder required for the animals which not only contributes towards the health of the animals but also adds to their production.
